Works for the enhancement and completion of the existing maritime works through the construction of a diaphragm wall with secant piles. The port's safety measures also involve the extension of the breakwater, the construction of the submerged quay, and the necessary installations and services to allow the use of the port and the internal docking works that enable the increase in the number of berths.

The filling of the basin was carried out using marine excavation material and virgin material from borrow pits. This project aims to give a new boost to the already thriving boating sector in the area.
